SINGLE PICK is a fast and simple way to pick individual orders to a cart or directly into a shipping container. This inventory control software will make sure your warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Picking Location is displayed in large bold text with the item or UPC number displayed directly below. The background colors change from yellow to green when the operator scans the barcode, indicating they are picking the correct item from the correct location. The item quantity is displayed for each item and can easily be adjusted up or down based on the actual quantities picked – all in real time, Tablet Director keeps track of every scan and item picked.
BATCH PICKING allows operators to pick multiple orders simultaneously to pre-assigned locations on a cart. An inventory control system allows for more effective organization.
A cart can have up to 50 locations that are assigned a unique order. The background color changes to green when the operator confirms they have put the correct quantity of an item into the correct cart location, allowing them to graphically keep track of which orders they have completed. When there is an insufficient quantity of an item to fill all of the orders on a cart, the operator simply adjusts the quantity for those orders to reflect a short pick utilizing the “+” or “–” buttons. The background color changes to red and the operator can continue on to the next item to be picked.
VERIFY allows you to rapidly verify all of the items for an order which have been picked and are ready to be packaged and shipped to your customer.
When a tote or cart is delivered to the packaging area the operator simply scans the barcode on the cart or tote containing the customer’s items. A list of the items and the quantity of each item ordered is displayed. The operator scans each item to verify that it is correct until all items have been scanned. Once the correct quantity is verified a green checkmark is displayed. If there is an insufficient quantity to fulfill the order the operator simply touches the red “X” and the item is marked short with a red checkmark and the information is transmitted to Tablet Director.
Once an order is completely picked the inventory may be packed into one or multiple boxes for shipping.
After using the “Single Pick” or “Batch Pick” app to pick an order, simply scan or type in the order number while in the “Packing” app. A confirmation screen will appear with all the items found within that order. Any items that were short picked will be highlighted in red. Packing operators can then begin to pack the items into the boxes while Tablet Director keeps track of what is in each box, including the total calculated weight and cube of the items! After confirming that the order is packed, Tablet Director will notify the host that the order is ready to be shipped.

RECEIVING creates a method to receive products from either a Bill of Lading “BOL”, or from a Purchase Order “PO”. Simply enter the BOL number then all of the PO’s associated with that BOL will be displayed and ready to process. Enter a PO number and all of the items for that PO will be displayed and ready to be received into the warehouse.
To begin receiving items simply scan the location or cart that the items are being received into. Next touch the “Receive” button for the item to be received and a popup box/keypad appears. Enter the quantity of item(s) being received. As each item is received it drops to the lower section of the screen and is placed in a pending state. Once the “Commit” button is touched, the item is now ready to be put away into the warehouse using our new “Put-Away” App. RECEIVING has never been this simple and accurate…
After using the “Receiving” app, an operator may then put away the inventory into a storage location. Once the items are put away the inventory will be available to pick.
To put away inventory, simply scan the each item. The screen will then show the locations where that item is located within the warehouse, including both the recommended “Home” location and all other locations. With this information the operator can then decide where the inventory should be stored. The operator then scans the location where the inventory will be stored and confirms the quantity added. During this process, each scan is communicated to Tablet Director with the new inventory and its location’s.

MANAGE INVENTORY enables you to track pallets of products within your warehouse utilizing barcoded rack locations. No more need for a paper tracking log or hunting through the warehouse looking for pallets.
You can even store and retrieve product based on First-In-First-Out “FIFO”.
When products are to be stored in a rack location, the operator scans the barcode on the product which will then notify the operator of its location within the warehouse. This inventory tracking system makes tracking simple and easy. Warehouse management software means no more need for stacks of paper.
Tablet Director stores the information in real time and maintains it in its powerful SQL database. When you need to retrieve a pallet simply scan the barcode on the product and the display will list all of the locations within the warehouse where the product is stored.
CYCLE COUNT utilizes the database maintained in Tablet Director to assist operators in performing cycle counts in an efficient and reliable fashion without stopping to write and record data.
As the operator moves through the warehouse and scans the barcode for each location the item is highlighted in blue on the screen. Once the operator scans an item, if it is correct, the highlight changes to green indicating the association is correct. If an incorrect item is stored in a location when it is scanned, the highlight turns red. As each item is scanned the quantity is recorded. Once all items are scanned the operator touches the green checkmark and proceeds to the next location… it’s that simple!
